Esker - Superior 2 Winter Tent Stove
Esker Superior 2 Winter Tent Stove
The Superior 2 is built for groups who need serious, sustained heat in a large canvas tent, with one key upgrade over the original: an adjustable pipe elbow that opens up how and where you can run your stack.
The adjustable elbow is what sets the Superior 2 apart from the standard Superior. It's designed to work with the side wall stove pipe ring on the Classic 2 tent, allowing the pipe to exit at a variable angle rather than straight up through the roof. That means the stack clears the tent fabric more effectively, keeping creosote embers away from the canvas and eliminating the need for a spark arrestor. It's a meaningful safety and convenience improvement for anyone doing extended winter camping or running a hunt camp over multiple nights.
The stove itself is built by Kni-Co from 22-gauge cold rolled steel with a 43.1 L burn chamber, a damper and draft control door for precise temperature management, and Esker's snow float legs that stabilise the unit using branches or poles found on site. All galvanised pipes nest inside the stove box and the legs fold flat, keeping the packed footprint identical to the original Superior.
