For paddlers and kayak anglers running longer boats who want full-length hull support, organised on-board storage, and room to carry extra gear above the main deck, this package brings it all together on a single rig.
The Malone MegaSport MPG550-TH pairs the MegaSport base trailer with two 84" Large Kayak Bunk Kits, a sliding storage drawer, a wire gear basket, a 2nd tier load bar system, and a spare tire in one fully equipped configuration. Full-length bunk support distributes hull load evenly along each boat, which is the preferred carrying approach for longer sea kayaks, canoes, and large fishing kayaks where point-contact cradles fall short. Two 15' load straps per bunk kit secure the boats firmly for highway transport.
The sliding storage drawer rolls out from beneath the loaded boats for easy access to tackle, batteries, and gear at the ramp without unloading the trailer first. The wire basket handles wet gear, paddles, and anything that doesn't need to be kept enclosed, while the 2nd tier load bar system adds a 150 lb rated upper deck for an additional kayak or cargo box. A full-size spare tire with locking attachment rounds out the kit for remote launches and back-road travel. Available by special order only.
