P&H - Scorpio II MV

P&H - Scorpio II MV

A polyethylene expedition sea kayak that's genuinely ready for open water the moment it leaves the shop, the Scorpio II MV is one of the most fully featured touring kayaks available in its class. Built around the same progressive hull profile as the celebrated Cetus, it brings serious offshore capability to a CoreLite X polyethylene construction that can handle the demands of multi-day paddling on Canadian coastlines and big inland waterways.

The hull transitions smoothly from a slender bow into a slightly V-shaped body with rounded chines, delivering a stable, controlled ride across a wide range of conditions. It tracks confidently and responds well on edge, and pairs naturally with the optional P&H Skudder system for paddlers who want precise directional control without compromising their stroke. The skeg slider sits on deck rather than at the side, keeping it clear of high-angle paddle strokes.

Above the waterline, the deck is thoughtfully laid out for real expedition use. Split paddle and compass recesses on the forward deck keep critical gear secure and accessible, moulded-in inserts accept a kayak sail mast foot, and full-strength deck lines and bungees provide ample storage and rescue options. Bungee-retained toggle handles make carrying and deep water rescues more manageable, and the low-profile rear deck keeps rolling and re-entry within reach.
