The Wilderness Systems XL Rudder Kit is a comprehensive, near-universal solution that covers a wide range of current and older Wilderness Systems solo kayaks. The kit includes everything needed for a complete installation on both rudder-ready and non-rudder-ready hulls, with footbraces, solo rudder assembly, cables, tubes, and all necessary hardware included in the box. For Pamlico tandem kayaks, the addition of the Supplemental Rudder Kit (sold separately) makes installation possible as well.

A worthwhile upgrade for paddlers who regularly deal with windy conditions on open Canadian lakes, tidal water, or longer crossings where tracking efficiency makes a real difference over the course of a full day.
