If you're launching from a sandy beach or muddy put-in, standard hard wheels will dig in and make hauling your kayak a frustrating experience. The TowNStow Sand Tire is built specifically for those conditions.

The air-filled balloon-style PVC tire rolls over soft surfaces like sand and mud with significantly less resistance than a hard wheel, making it much easier to move a loaded kayak across the kind of terrain that tends to slow you down before you even hit the water. Sealed hubs keep sand and grit out of the wheel assembly, and the injection-moulded UV-resistant polymer wheels are assembled with stainless steel hardware built for regular exposure to sun, saltwater, and everything in between. Like all TowNStow wheels, these snap onto any YakAttack TowNStow kayak cart and release with a single button press, so swapping between sand and hard surface wheels at the launch is quick and straightforward.
