The Malone DownLoader is a premium fold-down J-style kayak carrier built from corrosion-resistant aluminium, with a boarding ramp that makes sliding a kayak up and into the cradle significantly easier than lifting it over a fixed frame. The fold-down design drops the deployed height of 19.5" down to a compact 6" for low-clearance situations, and the oversize foam padding with replaceable acrylic fabric sleeves protects the hull at every contact point through years of regular loading cycles. Moulded strap bales keep load straps organised and positioned correctly without slipping.

Universal fit mounting hardware with 60mm and 70mm bolt options covers most factory and aftermarket load bar profiles, and the DownLoader is fully compatible with the Malone Telos XL Load Assist for paddlers who want mechanical help getting the kayak up to roof level.
