Sitting closer to the ground never felt so good — the Helinox Chair One (re) takes one of the most iconic lightweight camp chairs ever made and makes it genuinely better.

The headline upgrade is the new (re) Tension Design, which adds a second tension line inside the seat perimeter to spread your weight more evenly across the frame. The result is noticeably more comfort over long sits around the campfire or on the shore. The frame is also 30% taller than the original Chair One, making it easier to get in and out of, and the redesigned nylon resin hubs add meaningful stability underfoot.

Helinox built the Chair One (re) with sustainability in mind too. The DAC aluminium alloy frame is made from repurposed scrap material that would have otherwise gone to waste, and the bluesign-certified, recycled 300D polyester fabric is tough enough for seasons of hard use. Mesh panelling keeps air moving so you stay cool, and reinforced corners mean this chair holds its shape trip after trip.

For a lightweight packable chair that fits into a 15.5" x 5.5" x 4.5" carry case, it's remarkably capable. An integrated side pocket keeps your essentials handy, and shock-corded poles make setup fast and intuitive at any campsite across Canada.
