A drysuit that works as hard on the beach and in camp as it does on the water is a rare thing. The Kokatat Women's Odyssey was designed with that kind of versatility in mind.
The Odyssey is built on a foundation of Evolution 3.21oz 3-layer GORE-TEX PRO fabric throughout the body and socks, with 330 Cordura GORE-TEX PRO reinforcement on the legs, seat, and knees where abrasion and wear are most demanding. Nylon waterproof front entry and relief zippers are notably more pliable than traditional options and sit flush with the fabric for a cleaner, more comfortable fit against your body. The redesigned drop seat has been repositioned and recut to minimise interference with boat outfitting, a meaningful update for paddlers who run a fully rigged sea kayak or whitewater boat.
Two standout features set the Odyssey apart from a standard drysuit. The removable hood with pile-lined collar adds warmth and weather protection when conditions call for it, and stows away cleanly when they don't. Removable interior suspenders hold up the lower half of the suit when you want to peel the top down for a break on shore or in camp, without the bottom pooling around your feet. Reflective accents on the arms and hood add visibility in low-light conditions. Every suit is 100% fill tested before leaving the factory, and custom sizing and colour options are available through Frontenac Outfitters with a four to eight week lead time.
