A flat tire on a remote boat launch road with a fully loaded kayak trailer is the kind of setback that ruins a trip, and a properly rated spare on the trailer means it doesn't have to.

The Malone MegaSport Spare Tire is a full-size 8" x 10" three-ply trailer tire with a galvanised slotted rim, rated to 1650 lb and approved for any posted speed limit in Canada or the United States. DOT and Transport Canada certified, it's a legitimate full-rated spare rather than a temporary fix, which matters when the nearest town is a long drive back on a loaded trailer. The galvanised rim resists corrosion through repeated exposure to saltwater ramps, muddy launches, and Canadian winter storage conditions.

A galvanised anti-theft U-bracket mounts the tire securely to the trailer frame and accepts a lock for theft deterrence at campsites and trailheads (lock sold separately).
