The North Water Sea Tec Tow Line is a compact, waist-mounted system that unrolls into a large, wide-mouth bag for fast restuffing in rough water. That wide opening is a genuine advantage when you're trying to repack rope in a swell with cold hands. Flotation built into the bag keeps it afloat if it detaches, and the exterior carabiner park gives you quick access to the clip end without digging into the bag. The large, wide-gated stainless steel eyed carabiner is sized to prevent accidental slipping off the rope, and the generous closed cell foam carabiner flotation keeps it at the surface where you can grab it.
The 35' H2PrO kernmantle polypropylene rope is easy to spot in low visibility conditions, and the adjustable, removable shock absorber takes the spike out of dynamic loads during a tow. The 1-1/2" waist belt with cam release buckle and easy-to-feel pull bead means you can drop the tow confidently without looking down. The pouch-style repacking design makes the Sea Tec well suited to sea kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding, and a solid choice for paddlers who want to repack on the water rather than atop a spray skirt.
