The North Water Wedge Throw Line is built for paddlers and rescue professionals who need a bag that performs when it counts. The aerodynamic wedge shape gives it a natural, consistent arc through the air, and the sewn-in flotation keeps the bag buoyant after the throw, making it easier to restuff quickly for a second attempt. High tenacity pack cloth construction means this bag holds up to the kind of repeated use and abuse that comes with river rescue training and real-world deployments.
Two bag sizes let you match the kit to the job. The smaller bag runs 800 lb. tensile polypropylene floating rope, while the larger steps up to 1800 lb., giving rescue teams and serious paddlers the flexibility to spec the right line for their water conditions. Both options use 70-foot polypro rope in either 1/4" or 3/8" diameter.
The Wedge is designed to integrate cleanly with North Water's belt system. Belt loops on the bag allow for quick deployment from the Quick Draw Belt, Double Draw Belt, or ESD Belt, keeping the throw bag accessible and secure until you need it most.
