Switching to a rechargeable battery on your Trail Runner headlamp is a simple upgrade that pays off quickly, and the Silva Hybrid Battery 1.25Ah is the purpose-built option for doing exactly that.

Designed specifically for use with the Silva Hybrid Battery Case, this compact 3.7V LiPo battery charges via micro USB in 2.5 hours and weighs next to nothing in your kit. An LED indicator lets you monitor charging status so you're not heading out with a partially charged pack. Like all lithium batteries, capacity drops in cold weather, so using the extension cord to carry it in a jacket pocket rather than mounted on your headband is a smart habit for winter runs, ski tours, or early-season paddling days in Canada.

The battery is included with all Trail Runner Free headlamps. If you're running an older Trail Runner model, you'll need to pick up the Hybrid Battery Case separately to use it. IPX5 rated, it handles rain and spray without issue across all seasons.
